I. INTRODUCTION
Chiem is a philanthropic initiative founded by high school students with the aim of offering help, as well as sharing meaningful stories about the cultural life of ethnic minorities in the Northwest. The project is divided into two main events, the first of which is a painting exhibition with soulful depictions of a Sapa filled with vibrant colors on display. Proceeds gathered from these events will be used for the purpose of equipping schools in Sapa necessities, simplifying the financial hardships suffered by the less fortunate.
II. TIMETABLE
1. Exhibition
Selling paintings themed “The Nature and The People of Sapa” for 5 days in order to raise funds for charity
2. The charity trip to Sapa
Visiting Sapa’s local schools
III. TARGET DEMOGRAPHICS
Households and children of ethnic minorities in the Northwest
Residents, especially students living and working in the North (Hanoi in particular)
IV. PROJECT’S MESSAGE
Conveying meaningful messages to the masses.
Exploring many profound aspects in the lives of ethnic peoples.
Enabling the minorities to voice their opinions, in addition to exposing their lifestyles to a wider community
Accompanying ethnic minorities in their struggles against the Covid-19 pandemic
